Performing and Production Arts UAL Level 3 Diploma (Acting Pathway)
This study programme will help you to acquire general skills, knowledge and understanding of theatre, musical theatre, classical and contemporary performance. The programme will focus on developing skills in characterisation, improving vocal and movement technique, introduce you to the work of key practitioners and offer opportunities to take part in a range of performance pieces.
Entry requirements
To begin this study programme you will need...
Duration: 2 years
- 4 GCSEs grades 9–4 ideally including English & maths OR
- Performing & Production Arts at Level 2 AND
- You will also be required to perform one monologue lasting two minutes at your interview.

Performing and Production Arts UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma
Plus:
- English and maths qualifications if required
You can also gain up to 168 UCAS points.
Further study and career options
On successful completion of this study programme you could progress on to the Performing Arts (Performance Pathway) HND, or on to a specialist school in your chosen discipline to further develop your career prospects. The qualification also provides up to 420 UCAS points towards entry to a degree-level course. You could also go on to pursue employment in the performing arts industry.

To take part in this course there will be an additional fee of:
- £100 to cover the cost of any trips and visits
- Clothing/uniform at a cost of £15 and personal equipment costing £20
Funding information
All full-time Level 1 and Level 2 courses are now FREE for everyone, whatever their age. If you are looking to study a Level 3 qualification, courses are still free if you’re under 19 or 19-23 and studying your first full Level 3 qualification.
