Advanced Epilation Techniques City & Guilds Level 4 Award

This qualification will allow you to develop your epilation techniques, building on the Level 3 Epilation qualification. The course will incorporate the treatment of thread veins, telangiectasia, Campbell de Morgan, milia and skin tag removal, as well as treating hairs in moles.

Entry requirements

To take part in this course you should be working in the industry offering epilation prior to and during the course. A Level 3 qualification in epilation is also essential.

Course content

You will study to achieve City & Guilds Unit 408: Level 4 Award in Advanced Epilation Techniques.

Assessment methods

There will be a combination of theory and practical teaching, and assessed through practical assessments and two assignments.

Further study and career options

On completion of this course you can progress to employment as an advanced epilation therapist and pursue further qualifications, such as a Level 4 Diploma in Management Practice and Advanced Techniques in the Hair and Beauty Sector.

Additional information

This course has a lot of home study, assignment work and skills practice required.
