If you don't already have GCSE English and maths grade A*-C, we will work with you to help you develop your maths and English skills.
- Work experience
You are required to complete 150 hours of work experience as part of your study programme and mandatory unit: Employer Involvement.
- Personal development skills, study skills and employability skills
- Additional vocational learning and qualifications:
- You will have the opportunity to visit floristry events, flower markets and take part in competitions.
- You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills in commercial work.
Assessment methods
A variety of assessment methods will be used, including presentations, case studies, portfolios and practical assessments. The study programme will require you to complete two theory exams and one synoptic assignment (externally set).
Qualifications
Floristry NPTC Level 3 Diploma
Plus English and maths qualifications if required.
You can also gain up to 72 UCAS points.

Floristry is a diverse industry, and this study programme will also help prepare you for potential employment in private and corporate floristry, sales and marketing, buying for flower companies, creative demonstrations and event work.

To take part in this course you will be required to pay £950 for flower costs over the year. There will also be non-compulsory trips at approximately £300.
