Requirements for Electrical Installations City & Guilds 2382-18 Level 3 Award: 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (1 day)
This new course will provide a one day update on the 3rd Amendment to BS7671: 2018 Level 3 Certificate in The Requirements for Electrical Installation.
Entry requirements
Experienced staff of electrical contracting companies who have a good knowledge of the 17th Edition of the Wiring Regulations and have passed a formal electrical qualification on BS7671 since 2015.
Course content
Overview of the differences between the 17th Edition's 3rd Amendments to 2018.
At the end of the course, delegates will be able to identify the changes to the 18th Edition.
Assessment methods
Students will sit an E-Volve online exam at the end of the course.
Further study and career options
Many electrical contractors and sites require workers to be qualified to the current version of the electrical wiring regulations, without this it is not possible to work unsupervised in the industry. This course will provide an essential update to the changes that contractors will be required to conform to. This course, with appropriate experience, could lead on to the City and Guilds 2391-50, 51 & 52 Inspection & Testing.
Additional information
This can be delivered as a one day part time course, or two evenings. Course can be delivered on a flexible basis, either at College or in the workplace on any day of the week, and will occur on an on-demand basis throughout the year.
Students will be expected to study and have a working knowledge of BS7671: 2018 prior to starting the course.
