CISCO Academy CCNA Part 2: Routing & Switching Essentials
This is one of a set of four professional courses that will provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to be able to sit the following industry recognised certification exams. CCNET: Cisco Certified Network Entry Technician (ICND1) CCNA: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or ICND1 + ICND2 CCNET (ICND1) can be taken after the successful completion of the first two units. On successful completion of the last two units the ICND2 exam can be taken.

Entry requirements
You will need to have achieved the CCNA Part 1: Introduction to Networks.
Course content
You will complete the following course units:
- Routers
- Switches
- Devices configuration
Assessment methods
You will need to take an online exam at the end of the course.
Qualifications
Cisco routing and switching module 2 certificate (if final exam is passed).
Further study and career options
Successful completion of all four courses prepares you to sit the CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA) exam, which is universally recognised as the industry standard for network design and support, providing a first step for careers in this field.

Pay by instalments
The College offers an instalment plan for Further Education and Higher Education courses to students where the total amount payable at the point of enrolment is £200 or more. Within the scheme there is an ability to pay up to 6 instalments, depending on the length of the courses and the final payment must be paid at least a month before the end of the course.
