Whether you have decided on a course, or are just investigating your options, our Virtual Open Days provide an ideal opportunity for you to see exactly what Shuttleworth College has to offer. 

We are holding a series of Virtual Open Days in November, January, March and June where you can find out more about our facilities and the subjects you are interested in.

What can I do at a Virtual Open Day?

Whether you’ve already applied or have no idea what you want to study yet, our Virtual Open Days are perfect for you! You can get a real feel of student life. Tutors will also be on hand in our Virtual Classrooms to explain in depth about our courses and our Student Services team will also be there to offer advice on careers, transport, finance, wellbeing and more.

What subject areas will be represented?

Every subject area we offer at the College will be offering a talk at our Virtual Open Days. You will be able to select from a full list when you register for the event.

What if I want to study A-Levels, do Shuttleworth College offer them?

If you wish to study A-Levels, then we recommend registering for The Bedford Sixth event on Wednesday 11 November 2020. Click here to register.

What if I’m deaf/hard of hearing?

We can offer a transcript of the sessions – please contact marketing@bedford.ac.uk if that is something you require.

Do I have to be there for the duration of the event?

Of course not! Talks will start at the advertised time and you will receive a reminder 1 hour before the event. You can join the talk at any time when it is live and stay for as long or as little as you wish.

How do I apply for a course?

You can apply online on our website for all of our courses and our team will be there to support with how to do this.

Do I have to Register to be able to come?

You will only be able to access the talks by signing up on our website. Our Live Q&A sessions will only be available during the advertised time but talks will be available to re-play at a later date.

Does my entire family have to register?

No, only prospective students are required to register to attend a Virtual Open Day.
