Open Days at Bedford College

What are GCSE Results Day Advice Sessions?

The Bedford College Group is bringing you an opportunity to visit us from the safety of your own home and get help with your next steps now that you have received your GCSE results.

Choosing your next steps is a very important decision, so whether you have decided on a course, or are not sure what is available in your chosen subject these sessions are designed to help you make the best choice for you in September.

What can I do at a GCSE Day Advice session?

Our GCSE Advice Sessions give you the opportunity to ask questions about your course and get help with your next steps.

Each session will follow the same format:

  • Welcome to the College
  • Presentation on your chosen course
  • Q&A session with your tutor
  • Follow-up guidance including how to apply

You will also be offered the chance to speak with a member of the teaching team via phone if you would prefer to discuss something one to one.

Our Student Services and Customer Contact teams will also be available on Live chat to offer advice on applications, careers, transport, finance, wellbeing and more.
