The Bedford College Achievement Ceremony is the highlight of the College’s academic year and pays tribute to our Further and Higher Education students and all those students who have truly gone the extra mile to achieve great success during their studies. Many local dignitaries, representatives of business and commerce, academics, press and media attend the event and the atmosphere is one of great accomplishment and celebration.

It is important to recognise the dedication and hard work of our students and that is why we hold this prestigious event. For many of our students their journey to success has not been easy either personally, academically or socially and it makes a significant difference to them when their local community, family and friends acknowledges their hard work and celebrates with them.

Bedford College is an exempt charity and as such we rely on the generosity of the local business community to support events such as this. Each year local businesses and organisations show the students how much they value their educational excellence by sponsoring the various award categories. We are very grateful to these businesses and organisations, not only are they celebrating the importance of learning and their belief in our young people, but they are showing their support for the future of industry in Bedfordshire and beyond.

Bedford College wishes all the winners at this year’s ceremony and all our graduating students the very best of luck for the future. We know that you will continue to rise and go on to even bigger and better things. This year’s ceremony takes place on Thursday 5 December, at the Bedford Corn Exchange. Doors open at 6.30pm and students and guests must be seated by 7.00pm.
