Ross on show reel

Thursday 30 April 2015

Student film maker Amy Richardson has been putting skills learned as part of her Foundation Degree in Media Production to good – by filming Jonathan Ross.

The 19-year-old is just completing the second year of her degree at Bedford College before going on to her final year at the University of Bedfordshire. Like many students she has enjoyed the accessibility of studying closer to home in the superb facilities of the South Bank Arts Centre on the riverside campus of Bedford College.

Whilst filming at a comic convention on the theme of “cos-play” which is people dressing up as superheroes*, she spotted Jonathan and asked if would agree to be interviewed.

“He was happy to do it and now I have three or four minute to add to the production.”

Amy who lives in Bedford will switch to the university campus for the final part of her degree in the autumn.

In the meantime, thanks to the connections of Bedford College with employers she is undertaking work experience with www.tailwindmedia.co.uk in St Neots. This successful business has a number of ex Bedford College talented students among its workforce.
