Adult Learners’ Week is a chance to change your job and your life

Those who left school a long time ago or who have never been to college will find themselves welcomed at a range of events and activities staged by staff.
Bedford College has over 700 part-time courses to fit in with your work and lifestyle. Research shows that by taking up study to gain qualifications people increase their earnings.
At the new Milton Keynes Bedford College Learning Centre, which is being officially opened on Monday May 20th at 12 noon, there will be a whole range of introduction to IT and progression courses – ideal for those who have barely switched on a computer and need to know more.

The Tuesday, Bedford College staff will be welcoming people to their stand in Harpur Square, Bedford between 10.00am and 3.30pm. That same day the college campus in Cauldwell Street will be open to visitors from 5pm – 8pm. The Bedford Learning Centre in the High Street is open weekdays and Saturday morning to those wanting to pop in and find out more.

On Wednesday Bedford College staff will be at Luton – promoting courses and the Luton Learning Centre.
On Thursday it will be the turn of Shuttleworth College, part of Bedford College, to welcome in people who want to know more about part time courses at the Old Warden location. Visitors are welcome from 5 – 8pm. 
Shuttleworth College is also hosting the Adult Learner’s Awards event from 11 am – 1pm on Friday 24th May.
Said Sarah Baxter Director of Marketing at Bedford College: "The start of Adult Learner’s Week coincides with the launch of the new look Bedford College logo and website. The website will be easier to navigate and search for subjects. It also offers careers advice on which qualifications and training can lead to that dream job."
