Student profiles
Amy Clarke, Travel and Tourism BTEC National Diploma
“I decided to enrol with Bedford College after
attending one of the Open Days. I found that the tutors were
friendly and the College offered a better course than the other
colleges I had looked at.
“At school I had enjoyed taking a leisure and
tourism GCSE, so I made the decision to continue studying the
subject at a more advanced level.
“I like the atmosphere at the College because
all the tutors are friendly and supportive, and I enjoy the mix of
practical and theory work.
I hope to go to university to study travel and
tourism management, as I want to work towards a managerial position
within the industry, ideally in an airport.”
