If you are considering a career in teaching post-16 learners or if you are currently working as a verifier or assessor, our training courses are designed to helping people like you improve your knowledge of working in education.

Our staff are committed to promoting best practice in education, and they will actively encourage you to work with other students and staff to improve your knowledge.

We offer a range of courses, and accreditation of prior learning is offered where relevant.

We have teaching and training course options that are suitable for individuals already working in the post-compulsory sector or as a trainer in the workplace, and our PTLLS course is ideal if you are looking to begin work in this area. Our courses will enable you to consolidate your knowledge and experience with a recognised qualification, opening up opportunities for you to progress to more senior roles in the sector.

We also offer Access to Higher Education courses in a number of subjects.
