science A-Levels said that their lessons were well-planned and 94%

Our excellent programme of UCAS support and university visits
result in a 69% progression to Higher Education. We have a
well-organised tutorial programme, with specialist sessions based
around career focus and writing a CV. This shows you that our
commitment to your future success extends beyond the classroom.
The results don’t lie
Our A-Level Sociology and Psychology students achieved a 100%
pass rate in 2007/08. More detailed information about results can

Conferences with senior examiners
In 2007/08, Sociology students have had the opportunity to work
closely with a senior examiner to ensure good exam skills. This
means that you know you will not only be supported through
coursework, but fully prepared for your exams too.
Trips and visits to complement your studies
We know that you will learn more effectively if we can provide
some variety in your learning and teaching, so last year AS/A2
Psychology students attended lectures at Cambridge University on
offender profiling to enhance their understanding of their criminal
psychology modules.
