Our talented acting students recently performed four plays
commissioned by the National Theatre New Connections programme. The
plays, entitled ‘A Vampire Story’, ‘Fugee’, ‘My Face’ and ‘Four
Walls’, went down a storm when they were performed in our
atmospheric studio theatre.
Our energetic dancers choreographed and performed ‘A Time to
Dance’ which was very well received by the public and industry
professionals alike. Audiences were blown away by the performance’s
contemporary themes and innovative mixture of dance styles, which
ranged from tap to jazz and ballet.
Media student Philip Feeney was awarded a gold medal for Video
Production in the prestigious WorldSkillsUK competition.
Media students Charlotte Nash and Josh Brown got the chance to
volunteer to be runners for ITV’s News at Ten.
