subjects said that they felt lessons were well planned and 94%
found their lessons challenging, so you can feel confident that
your time with us will not only be intellectually stimulating, but
enjoyable too.
Trips and visits to complement your studies
You will be given the opportunity to attend subject related
external events, giving you a broader knowledge and experience of
the topics you are studying. In 2007/8 Humanities students attended
examination conferences and enjoyed field trips to the Cotswolds
and the Forest of Dean. English students benefit from a regular
programme of theatre visits, which enhance the reading of dramatic
texts and provide a context for your studies.

Our students have achieved a 100% success rate in A2 English
Literature, A2 French and A2 Spanish. These are just some examples

Expert guidance and support
Our excellent programme of UCAS support and university visits
result in a 69% progression to higher education. We have a
well-organised tutorial programme, with specialist sessions based
around career focus and writing a CV. This shows you that our
commitment to your future success extends beyond the classroom.
