Stephanie Jones

Stephanie Jones, Beauty Therapy Level 2 (part-time)

“I originally came to the College to study a Level 3 course in Holistic Therapies, I really enjoyed the course and it ended up with me working in a local health spa. I’ve now decided that I want to take my skills even further so I’ve returned to the College on a part-time basis to study Beauty Therapy.”

“Bedford College was able to offer me the flexibility I needed so that I could continue to work, the tutors are really helpful and know the industry inside out so I know that the techniques I’m learning are the techniques which my customers want and which will eventually earn me lots more money!”

Sara Saunders

Sara Saunders, Beauty Therapy Level 2 (part-time)

“I originally went to sixth form at Hastingsbury however I didn’t really know what I wanted to do. After leaving school I got a job in retail but I knew it wasn’t for me. That’s why I decided to come to Bedford College to study Beauty Therapy.”

“Studying part-time means that I can carry on working and as the College is so local, its really not a problem to get to. When I finish my course I would like to visit clients on a mobile basis before eventually owning my own business.”

Aimee Hirt

Aimee Hurt, Beauty Therapy Level 2

“I left school after falling pregnant and after I’d had my baby I was determined to get back into education – I now really enjoy my beauty course and the College really helps with my funding.”

“The great thing about the College is that they have an actual open to the public salon which means that the techniques we learn we can use straight away after we finish our course and go into work.”
