In 2007, former Bedford College plumbing student Alexander King
(bottom left) beat off heavy competition to secure a highly
sought-after apprenticeship with British Gas. In the same year,
Alexander also picked up an award for Outstanding Achievement at
the College’s Achievements Ceremony.
The College swept the board at an awards evening staged by the
Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineers (IPHE), with five
students picking up awards.
