'
Every Child Matters'
is a Government initiative aimed at every young person up to the
age of 18. The College is committed to meeting the aims of this
initiative, which are that you should:
Be
healthy
We offer lots of opportunities for you to find out about
healthy lifestyles and take part in sports activities, as well as
providing free drinking water and healthy meal
options.
Stay safe
We take the safety and wellbeing of all our students
seriously, and have a Safe Team in place to make sure that the
College is a safe and welcoming place to work and
learn.
Enjoy and achieve
Your success is our top priority – and, as well as studying,
there are lots of opportunities for you to take part in our varied
programme of sports, leisure and fun activities.
Make a positive contribution
We want you to get involved in the College, for example by
being a student rep, joining the student council or becoming a
student governor – and we count on your views to help us
continually improve!
Achieve economic well-being
We will give you all the help possible to ensure you complete
your course successfully and progress on to your next step, whether
that is a job or training, a university place or another course at
College.
To us, every student matters!
