Partnerships with Community Organisations

The following are some examples of the Schools and Community Liaison’s current partnership work:

Supporting our careers, sales and marketing teams at community events, by manning stands with prospectuses, leaflets, etc.
Working with Develop EBP to co-ordinate the Children’s University and Summer College programmes, work experience, the local enterprise learning network etc.
Meeting educational needs – working in association with NAGC – (the National Association for Gifted Children) on events such as the Big Family Weekend, with local schools on their Gifted and Talented provision and with Special Schools.
Representing the College on the Bedfordshire and Luton Learning Partnership Community Forum.
Providing information, advice and guidance (signposting where appropriate) to clients in community and voluntary organisations e.g. The Prince’s Trust, Sure Start Children’s Centres, local YMCA hostels.
