An apprenticeship means you work and get paid while you learn
an industry skill.
So as an apprentice you will be earning while
you learn. And if it sounds a little too good to be true, being an
apprentice really does give you the best of both worlds, enabling
you to gain valuable hands-on working experience as well as a
formal qualification.
However, that doesn’t mean apprenticeships are
easy. You must have the dedication to succeed in the world of work
and have an enthusiasm for the course and industry sector you wish
to pursue. At the same time, you must commit yourself to a
serious training and study programme.

employer considering taking on an apprentice, please view
