The main campus of Bedford College is situated
on the banks of the River Great Ouse in Bedford, and provides you
with some of the most up-to-date facilities around. With the
College situated in the heart of Bedford getting here is easy,
major train and bus links are not far from our doorstep.
Sixth Form Centre
Our dedicated Sixth Form Centre for A-Level
courses provides you with specialist subject rooms, quiet areas for
private study, a computer lab with internet access and a wealth of
research materials for each subject area.
Learning Resources Centre (LRC)
Now newly refurbished, the
Learning Resources Centre provides you with different
learning zones to suit you, however you like to study. There is a
quiet zone for if you want to buckle down and concentrate on your
studies and group study zones for when you and your classmates are
working as a team. The LRC includes over 30,000 items such as
books, DVDs and journals as well as a variety of e-books and
e-resources.
The LRC also provides you with access to 90
computers including PCs, Macs and netbooks and free WiFi whenever
the LRC is open. If you fancy a spot of studying after hours,
you can access the library services online 24/7 through Moodle, our
student intranet. We provide photocopying and scanning facilities,
and our friendly staff are always available to help you out.
IT & internet access
At Bedford College we have over 1,500
computers, all of which have access to the internet and run the
latest software. You will have access to our internal website,
Moodle, which is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and allows
you to access your course materials, personal files, library
resources and College email account.
Science labs
Bedford College has three purpose built
laboratories for physics, chemistry and biology presenting you with
the opportunity to use an excellent range of equipment. This means
your studies will never be compromised by a lack of resources.
Springs Sports & Leisure Centre
Available to all College students, you can
benefit from the amazing sports facilities on offer at our £2.5
million Springs Sports Centre. The centre boasts a full sized
sports hall, spacious dance studio and a fully equipped fitness
studio complete with cardiovascular equipment and weights.
South Bank Arts Centre
Our £6 million arts centre provides you with
first class teaching facilities complete with cutting-edge industry
standard media and music suites, TV and recording studios, editing

Here at Bedford College we have various
on-site food outlets that cater to every students taste. Whether
