Outstanding student support
We know how important it is for you to receive
strong support and guidance throughout your studies – particularly
if you are returning to education after a long break.
Bedford College has an outstanding reputation
for providing strong support. Our Enquiries & Guidance service
was the first college-based service in the county to be accredited
with the Matrix standard, which recognises the exceptionally high
standard of advice and guidance we provide. They will ensure you
are on the right course at the start of your Bedford College
journey, and our expert careers advisors, who are also Matrix
accredited, can help you decide on your next route when you
leave.
You will have access to a personal tutor who
can provide you with support, feedback and help with planning your
work. This is provided in addition to small group tuition, in which
you will get all the individual attention you deserve.
If you are returning to education after many
years then an Access to Higher Education course may be a good
option for you. Bedford College has a fantastic reputation for
supporting people who decide to return to learning, ensuring that
students are comfortable and that their confidence is
increased.
If you have a specific learning difficulty or
disability, are deaf or hearing impaired, or need help with your
reading, writing, maths or assignment planning, we can provide the
equipment and support you might need to achieve success.
