So as an apprentice you will be earning while you learn. And if it sounds a little too good to be true, being an apprentice really does give you the best of both worlds, enabling you to gain valuable hands-on working experience as well as a formal qualification.

However, that doesn’t mean apprenticeships are easy. You must have the dedication to succeed in the world of work and have an enthusiasm for the course and industry sector you wish to pursue.  At the same time, you must commit yourself to a serious training and study programme.

* Apprentices are covered by the Working Time Regulations and earn a minimum wage of £95 per week, pro rata.
