A Levels
At Bedford College, we understand that it can be difficult to
make decisions about your future, especially when it comes to
leaving school. Our A Level results emphasise our commitment to
hard work and high standards and we can offer you subject
specialist tutors, many of whom have the experience and expertise
to be senior examiners. Our Sixth Form Centre is one of the biggest
in the county and we offer 31 different AS/A2 Level subjects,
including a range of new subjects starting in 2009. We also offer a
Bursary for Educational Excellence for those students who achieve
at least five GCSEs at grade A*-B.
As well as loads of courses to choose from,
you will have plenty of extra-curricular activities to get involved
in. We have a great enrichment programme and there are
opportunities for trips and visits to complement your studies.
Studying A Levels at College is a great way to
prepare yourself for university or higher education. You’re treated
more like an adult, and we expect you to act in accordance with the
mature environment, but you still get excellent support to make
sure you get the most out of your learning experience.
