Esin
Esat, Director of Sustainability, said:
“We decided to run our Sustainability Day on
World Environment Day to highlight the importance of sustainability
to the College, the community and the world.
“The exhibition has given departments from
every area of the College the opportunity to share with others what
they are doing. We are increasingly working with our
community and this exhibition is aimed at the public and well as
those in the College community.
“Sustainability is on everyone’s minds these
days and affects everything we do. It is not just about
lifestyle but about economic development as well. If we are
to get ourselves out of this recession this is the key.”
MP Patrick Hall (pictured above) talked
to students about their projects, presented them with awards and
congratulated them on their excellent work.
