Star turn apprentices


Bedford College students, staff and employers were regional TV stars during national Apprenticeship Week.

Employer Kerry Cash of 5th Avenue, apprentices and media students were captured on film by Anglia TV for their innovative Blind Date promotion which was due to be screened on Friday February 10th to mark the finale of Apprenticeship Week. Mary Palmer of Bedford College apprenticeships team talked to SMEs at the Beacon Breakfast on Friday about the help her colleagues can give advise to employers who don't know where to begin to employ an apprentice. Meanwhile back at the Construction Centre, building trade employers and students were brought together for table top talks about how to win jobs in the industry.
