Real Renaissance Cafe
Bedford College Chief Executive Ian Pryce joined the
celebrations at the opening of the Real Renaissance Cafe at the
Health Hub in Kimbolton Road, Bedford.
The eatery, in part of what was the former North Wing Hospital,
is open to public like the award-winning Swannery restaurant at
South Wing. At lunchtimes members of the public will be able to
enjoy healthy food at reasonable rates, and on selected evenings
the same venue will turn into the Sparkling Energy Restaurant
serving raw food - more delicious than it sounds.
Ian was delighted to find that a former art foundation
student of Bedford College, Charlotte Tenneson, was exhibiting her
work on the walls. The acrylic on canvas works are titled Raw
Energy and the charcoal on paper Cutlery Drawer.
