Bedford's view on budget for ITV

Bedford College was  featured on ITN News at Ten tonight (Wednesday March 24th) as part of the Leadership Lab series. This time the subject was The Budget.

Occasional episodes have been broadcast for more than 18 months featuring a group of people from Bedford discussing their views on the leaders of the three main political parties.

Filming has been carried out in the Tower Block science laboratory of Bedford College to give an authentic setting for the survey.

ITV News visits Bedford College

The arrangement has provided a fantastic work opportunity for various Bedford College media students to be “runners” for the film crew professionals.

They have worked alongside News at Ten presenters Julie Etchingham, Mary Nightingale and Chris Ship, assisted camera crews and some students even visited the ITV studios in London.

This week’s runners were: Lauren Vasey, Kelly-Leanne Bentley and Charlotte Duell. The former two are on a National Diploma Media Studies course and Charlotte is in the second year of a Foundation Degree.
