Schools Liaison

The role of the Schools and Community Liaison Manager is to develop links with local schools and the local community to:

• promote the College and its courses
• to raise awareness about all of the services offered to our students
• to liaise between community groups and staff in the College.

This entails attending school Open Evenings, Open Days, Careers Days/Evenings and other events in the community.

Another strand to the role is to co-ordinate and/or organise events at the college such as: Taster Days, Buddy Days, Children’s University, Summer College, Women into Construction, Adult Learners’ Week and a Connexions’ Information Day for local advisors and to promote them locally.
