Student achievements


English Colleges Football Association

  • Bedford College is home to 2012 hopeful sprinter Deji Tobias, who is the fastest under 20 year old in the UK. Deji is taking a BTEC National Diploma in Sports Development, Coaching and Fitness.

  • Last year BTEC Level 3 student Ashley Farmer represented England in the English Colleges National team and he also made the top 15 on Sky Ones Footballs Next Star in a bid to receive a professional contact with Inter Milan.

  • Charlotte Corke is an official Young Sports Ambassador, a representative for the The Young Ambassador movement which commenced in 2006 following London’s successful Olympic bid. Read the full story to find our more information.

  • Bedford College student Alec Wheeler (pictured above) is a Great Britain Archery Gold and Bronze medal winner.
