A-Level students celebrating their exam results

In 2010, in many of our subjects, including human biology, psychology, Urdu, physics, sociology, government & politics and further maths, our students realised 100% achievement. 61% of our students achieved higher grades in AS mathematics, while 85% of A2 Sociology students gained grades A or B with four of those being A*.

Students studying academic programmes at the College have gone on to secure places at top universities, such as Cambridge, Bristol and Warwick. Students on our more vocational courses have won high profile awards, such as the Apple Creative Talent.

Here at Bedford College, we aim to use our strong study ethic and supportive learning environment to help our students make the most of their talents and skills. And, in 2011 they showed that their hard work had really paid off. Our A-Level students achieved a 98% pass rate, with 49% achieving the top grades A*-B. Students on our Level 3 BTEC qualifications achieved a 97% pass rate, with 47% achieving the top grades Distinction or Merit.
