Support and guidance

Learners have ongoing intensive personal support from their tutors and support staff. The co-ordinator will liaise closely with the school, parents/carers and other external agencies to support the progress of individual learners. Progress reviews and termly reports will be completed for each learner in order to monitor their progress. Post-16 progression is a key aspect of the Alternative Curriculum Programmes.

Learners will be provided with careers advice and support throughout the programme to enable them to progress onto further education, training or employment. Termly timetabling means that new students can enter onto the programme throughout the year (spaces permitting).
